I just wanted to take a moment and say Thank You! Thank you to everyone who has supported me the last couple months as I prepared and set out on this new, exciting, and scary journey to Charlottesville, VA!
You will never know how grateful I am for all of the well wishes and words of encouragement to push me out of my comfort zone and into a brand new world. And while it has been difficult, stressful, and overwhelming, it means everything to me that I have so much love and support.
I wanted to give a special thanks to my family! My parents have been an absolute dream and I truly couldn’t have done this without them. I know that probably sounds silly as I’m posting about how I’m on a new journey as an adult, but I am blessed to have parents who want nothing more than for me to succeed and no matter how old I get, I think I will always need their guidance. I am beyond lucky to have a mom and dad like these two who not only helped me get settled in a brand new city away from home, but bought me a brand new Keurig to go with it—>Because no daughter of Kathy’s is going to go without a daily dose of coffee!
And to the best siblings out there, who reach out to me constantly to make sure I don’t get too homesick (even though I don’t think anything could stop that) you all mean the world to me! Their excitement for me has pushed me to want to do the best I can while I am here. I can’t wait to see you all when I visit for the holidays (hopefully sooner) and for you to come visit so I can show you around!
“I am thankful that my blessings are too many to count.”
Thank you!
